The second call for grants of the Digital Kit program for SMEs. It was published the call for the first grants for the digitization of companies, between 3 and 9 employees.
The deadline for submitting applications begins on September 2nd, 2022 in the electronic headquarters of Red.es and will be open for 12 months or until the funds run out.
Digital Kit for SMEs
The bonds for the digitalization of these SMEs will have an amount of 6.000€ with which they will be able to acquire the solutions offered by the program Kit Digital for SMEs. With it, the SMEs will be able to acquire the digitalization solutions for key areas such as:
- website and internet presence
- social network management
- e-commerce
- customer management
- virtual office services and tools
- business intelligence and analytics
- process management
- electronic invoicing
- secure communications and cybersecurity
The aids will be monetary provisions destined to finance the adoption of digitalization solutions available in the market whose references are included in the Program’s Digitalization Solutions Catalog with the following limits per Solution.
It is clarified that the vouchers may finance the replacement of existing digitization solutions as long as it implies a functional improvement: a totally new solution that meets the minimum requirements stipulated for the category to which it belongs and when the solution being replaced does not meet any of the minimum requirements demanded in the digitization solution category to which it corresponds.
Solutions that involve a development, progress, increase or enrichment of the services and functionalities of the existing solution shall not be considered functional improvement. Software version updates, upgrades or version improvements will not be considered as functional improvements either.
The new basic order includes the possibility of subsidizing hardware, when it is essential for the provision of the contracted solution. These devices are included in the pay-per-use modality, as part of a digitization solution, which cannot be used for purposes other than the provision of the solution.
What are digitizing agents?
It is necessary to choose a digitizing agent adhered to the program, since they are the only ones authorized to sign the “agreements for the provision of digitization solutions” with the beneficiaries of the subsidies, available at www.acelerapyme.es . The period for becoming a digitizing agent will be open for the entire duration of the Digital Kit program. Therefore, this catalog will be expanded as applications for membership are resolved.
The digitalizing agents are the entities authorized to sign “agreements for the provision of digitalization solutions” with the companies that are beneficiaries of the Digital Kit program subsidies and holders of the digital voucher. Their function is to collaborate and help SMEs in the process of applying for aid. They are also voluntary representatives and in the control actions derived from them.
Deadlines
The digitalizing agent has a maximum period of three months in which it must carry out the installation and/or development of the solution and the issuance of the invoice, with the prior agreement of the beneficiary. This period starts to run from the validation of the Agreement for the Provision of Digitization Solutions.
In order to facilitate the management, the term to justify the solution implemented by the Digitizing Agent is extended to six months, from the date of validation of the Agreement, with the beneficiary being up to date with the payment of the non-subsidizable part of the service (taxes) and the amount exceeding the amount established for the category chosen by the beneficiary company.
The new order of bases also establishes a maximum period of three months, after the presentation of the justification and its validation, for the Digitalizing Agent to receive the corresponding payment of the aid.
The agents will be the ones to submit all the supporting documentation. And, once the service has been provided and its justification has been approved, they will receive the payment of the digital voucher.
What is the Voluntary Representative?
In order to facilitate access to the subsidies as much as possible, the figure of the “voluntary representative” has been created, i.e. any duly authorized third party, whether an individual or a legal entity, can apply for the subsidy on behalf of the SME.
The aid will be granted directly, on a first-come, first-served basis and subject to the availability of sufficient credit. Once the verification of the fulfillment of the requirements has been carried out.
How to apply for the Kit Digital voucher
First, register in the private area of www.acelerapyme.es and complete the self-diagnosis test, which takes no more than 10 minutes.
Secondly, consult the information available on the digitalization solutions of the Kit Digital program. Here you can choose one or more of those offered by the digitizing agents.
Finally, apply for the aid in the electronic headquarters of Red.es
And once the aid is granted?
The next steps are also simple. First, access the catalog of digitalizing agents adhered to www.acelerapyme.es and select the agent with which you want to develop digital solutions.
Then, contact the digitizing agents and sign the “agreement for the provision of digitization solutions”.
