Royal Decree-Law 6/2019, of March 1, established the obligation for companies to carry out a mandatory salary register. This measure is part of the development plan for effective equality between men and women in the workplace. The aim is to ensure that the wages paid by the company to employees are fair wages, that they are recorded and that there is no room for gender discrimination.
Fill in the form and we will contact you as soon as possible.
In Arrabe Integra we are specialists in consulting for the mandatory wage registration of companies and in equality plans. Both obligations are independent although they are related.
Concretely, in the mandatory register of salaries of the company they will have to appear: the average values of the salaries, the complementary salaries and the extra salaries. It should include all salary categories of all employees, differentiating by sex and professional groups. It should therefore be specified as much as possible so as not to leave room for inequalities.
After the entry into force of the corresponding measures, companies with more than 50 employees are required to have salary records. Therefore, companies must include a salary audit in their equality plan.
It is worth noting the mandatory nature and the serious penalties that the company may face. The company that establishes a salary inequality faces serious sanctions ranging from 6,251 to 178,500 euros. Not counting possible compensations to be paid to the workers involved.
For all these reasons, having a team of specialist consultants in Human Resources management matters is essential.
