The subsidies for the youth hiring program of the Community of Madrid have been approved. With a budget of almost 7 million Euros. And destined to the program of incentives to the hiring of young people registered in the SNGJ (National Youth Guarantee System) of 2021 of the Community of Madrid.

Subsidies for the youth hiring program of the Community of Madrid
Self-employed workers, companies and private non-profit entities are eligible for these incentives. As long as they meet the established requirements:
- that they hire young people under the age of 30 years old who reside in Madrid
- and are registered in the SNGJ file.
Applications must be submitted within a maximum period of one month from the date of registration of the worker in the social security system. It will be done through the web page of the Community of Madrid.
These programs are described below.
Internship contracts
With a budget credit of €3,000,000.
Its purpose is to favor the labor insertion of qualified young people who need professional experience. Giving incentives to internship contracts in an occupation directly related to their degree and according to their level of studies or training.
Each full-time internship contract will be subsidized with an amount of €4,500. And in no case for part-time less than 62.5%, in which case the amount of the subsidy will be reduced in the same proportion. But provided that the duration of the contract is at least 6 months.
When the full-time internship contract is formalized with a young person who had been dismissed after the declaration of the state of alarm. Under RD 463/2020, due to major force or economic, technical, organizational and production causes. Provided for in articles 51 and 52.c of the revised text of the Workers’ Statute, the amount of the subsidy will be €5,000.
Training and learning contracts
With a budget appropriation of €700,000.
It aims to promote the labor insertion and the professional qualification of young people, in a regime of alternation of:
- paid work activity in a company
- with training activity received within the framework of the vocational training system for employment
- or the educational system through the establishment of incentives for the formalization of a full-time training and apprenticeship contract.
A subsidy of €2,940 will be granted for the first 6 months of each full-time training and learning contract. Without prejudice to the duration established for these contracts by the applicable labor regulations.
When the full-time learning contract is formalized with a young person who has been dismissed after the declaration of the state of alarm. Pursuant to RD 463/2020, due to major force or economic, technical, organizational and production causes. Provided for in articles 51 and 52.c of the revised text of the Workers’ Statute, the amount of the subsidy will be €3,440.
Stable hiring of young people
With a budget credit of €3,000,000.
This last program seeks to facilitate the stable insertion of young people into the labor market by establishing incentives for the formalization of an indefinite-term contract.
An amount of €5,500 will be subsidized for each full-time permanent contract. And in no case for a part-time contract of less than 62.5%, in which case the amount of the subsidy will be reduced in the same proportion. Provided that the duration of the contract is at least twelve months.
When the full-time internship contract is formalized with a young person who has been dismissed after the declaration of the state of alarm. Under RD 463/2020, due to major force or economic, technical, organizational and production causes. Provided for in articles 51 and 52.c of the revised text of the Workers’ Statute, the amount of the subsidy will be €6,000.
The amounts will be increased by €2,000 in the case of the first hiring made by self-employed workers.
In the three programs, the above-mentioned subsidy amounts will be increased by €500 in the case of young people hired who are women or who belong to the transgender group.
