The Labor Market will remain stable until the end of 2018. According to the Manpower Group study of Employment Projection for Spain.
According to this study, Spanish executives’ hiring intentions put the net employment projection at +5% for the last quarter of 2018. Which points to a slight increase, both compared to the third quarter of this year (3Q 2018; +4%) and to the same quarter of the previous year (4Q 2017: +4%).
The results of the study carried out by Manpower Group stand out:
- Employment will be created in five of the six regions into which the study is divided. East (+9%), Northwest (+4%), Northeast (+8%), Center (+5%) and North (+4%), with the East (Valencia and Murcia) being the best forecast in the last 8 quarters.
- Employment increased in the 10 industrial sectors covered by the study. The two sectors with the best hiring prospects are Hospitality (+8%) and Transport, Logistics and Communications (+8%).
- In the classification by company size, large companies are the ones that give more impulse to hiring. With an Employment Projection of +25%.
- At international level, 43 of the 44 countries participating in the study show positive forecasts, with Japan (+26%), Taiwan (+21%), Romania (+19%), Slovenia (+19%) and the United States (19%) standing out.

The Manpower Group Employment Projection Study for the fourth quarter of 2018 was conducted by interviewing a representative sample of 1,000 managers in Spain.
All respondents were asked the same question:
- “How do you expect employment in your company to change in the next quarter, until the end of December 2018, compared to the previous quarter?”
