The Certification of the need to travel for working reasons is not yet compulsory. That is, the authorities cannot require us to carry any documentation to prove that we are going to our workplace. But they can make checks to ensure that our cause is indeed justified.
Moreover, the law currently allows workers to travel to their workplace, on foot, by public transport, or in their vehicle.
While our first recommendation is to stay at home, and where possible, telework. Pending clarification by the competent authorities, from our Labour Consulting Department we recommend having this certificate.
Certification of the need to travel for working reasons
According to the R.D. 463/2020 (art 5.2) “the agents of the authority may carry out the necessary checks on persons, goods, vehicles, premises and establishments” to verify that we are going to our workplace.
So a certificate that can facilitate the accreditation that we go to work, will greatly expedite the proceedings. And the authorization of the agents who identify us in a control.
Of course, it must be signed by whoever excites you. Also include all the information that is necessary to accredit these displacements. Including possible telephone contacts of the company in which it can be verified that the worker is in the staff.

In addition, the option of sharing a car to go to work sowed doubts, but we can refer to the Guardia Civil itself, that says it can be shared the car if you go to the same workplace.
We hope that in the next few days the measures introduced in the State of Alarm declaration will become more concrete.
