The National Contest for Young Entrepreneurs is now open. Its purpose is to support young people who lead innovative and viable projects from companies already established, with a maximum of three years and a minimum of one by the deadline for submitting applications, regardless of the sector in which they are promoted. To this end, the first ten selected will be granted financial aid to facilitate the consolidation of the business project promoted by each of them.
For the purposes of this call for applications, ‘company’ means self-employed workers, family businesses, partnerships and associations which regularly carry out an economic activity, in accordance with Commission Recommendation 2003/361/EC of 6 May 2003, in all cases promoted by young people of Spanish nationality and those legally resident in Spain.
Presentation of candidatures: From 27 August to 21 September
Amount: Each of the first ten selected will be awarded a cash contribution of 20,000 €. Where applicable, the corresponding personal income tax deduction will be applied.
Beneficiaries: it is aimed at young people of Spanish nationality and those with legal residence in Spain, natural or legal persons.
In the case of natural persons, they must have legal residence and a work permit in Spain, and they must not exceed the age of 35 years on the deadline for submitting applications.
When the project is carried out by a legal person, the application must be presented by the legal representative of that legal person, who in no case must exceed 35 years of age. They must also submit a responsible declaration that the majority (51%) of the share capital is owned by young people under 35 years of age.
The registered office and the scope of the main activity of the project submitted must, in any event, be in Spanish territory.
Compatible with the receipt of other aid, subsidies, income or resources obtained for the same purpose.
Recipients of other editions of the National Contest for Young Entrepreneurs may not apply again for this call.
