The Community of Madrid published an increase in the current Program of Incentives for the Aid for indefinite-term contracts
With the new update of amounts for aid for indefinite-terms contracts in the Community of Madrid gives the right to:
- Grant of €4,000 for each initial full-time permanent contract.
- Subsidy of €5,500 for each initial full-time indefinite contract made with persons belonging to one of the following groups:
- People over 45 years old.
- Working people returning from abroad to the Community of Madrid.
- Long-term unemployed persons (who can prove a period of registration as unemployed jobseekers of at least 360 days)
- Subsidy in the amount of €7,500 for each initial full-time indefinite contract for long-term unemployed persons over 45 years of age. And also for each initial full-time indefinite contract for long-term unemployed persons. Those who can prove that they have been registered as unemployed for at least 24 months without interruption.
These grants will be increased by €500 when the person hired is a woman or belongs to the transgender group.
In addition, they will be increased by €2,000 in the case of the first recruitment by self-employed workers.
4. The subsidy is maintained at the amount of €3,000 for each conversion from a training contract on a full-time, indefinite temporary contract. With a minimum term of six months prior to the date of conversion.

General requirements
- The hiring of unemployed persons registered in the Community of Madrid by self-employed persons, companies and private, non-profit-making entities to provide services in any work centre they may have within the Community of Madrid itself may be subsidised.
- Applications must be submitted no later than one month after the date of registration of the person hired. Obviously under the relevant social security scheme.
- In the case of incentives for initial indefinite hiring, persons must be registered as unemployed jobseekers with the employment offices of the Community of Madrid for a period of at least one consecutive month immediately prior to their hiring (except in the case of hiring workers returning from abroad).
- In the case of incentives for the conversion of temporary and training contracts into indefinite contracts, they must have a minimum term of six months prior to the date of the conversion and when the persons hired carry out their activity in the Community of Madrid.
- Only a maximum of 10 recruitments per beneficiary may be subsidised in any one budget year.
- Indefinite contracts must involve a net increase in the company’s level of indefinite employment.
